The visit app
The museum has a visit app for smartphones and tablets (Android and iOS). Download the app for free or rent a tablet in our shop and experience this new way of visiting our museum!
Available in French and English, this app was developed by smArtapps and by Studio Vert Foncée for the audio content. This digital mediation tool accompanies the Île-de-France prehistory museum visit. It is free and can be downloaded from GooglePlay and iTunes or directly in the museum lobby.
This application, which has 400 images, contains two tours: one of the archaeological collections, the other of the architecture. The first is an hour of commented tour of the rooms in chronological order. The second is a 30 minute stroll in and around the museum.
For a more in-depth visit of the collections, the application allows you to discover certain objects that are characteristic of the main prehistoric period using information sheets. Finally, the application contains a glossary to understand specialised terms.
